Common questions
Is LTR ten years with no further conditions?
No. The first permission to stay is for up to 5 years. The next period depends on the conditions being re-checked.
Can my family apply too?
A spouse and children may be able to apply as dependants. Rules can change, so we check the current conditions for your family individually.
Does LTR let me work in Thailand?
It depends on the category. Some holders may apply for a digital work permit; Work-from-Thailand Professionals are not granted one.
Do you guarantee approval, tax benefits or a bank account?
No. Visa decisions rest with the competent authorities, banks make their own decisions, and tax depends on your circumstances.
